Michelle and family,

I came to see my mom today at levindale and saw your Dad's empty room. I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was an amazing man.we talked about Brooklyn, his pharmacy and his Bar Mitzvah in a Brooklyn synagogue. He talked about your mom with so much love and was so proud of his girls. Phil always asked to see pictures of my granddaughter. It put a smile on his face. May the memories you have of your Dad bring you comfort. The Levindale family will miss him. Sincerely, Sherri Bauman (2308)

Dear Shermak Family,
I got to know Phil over the last two months as my dad was on Household Five. I spent many hours on the floor and shared some happy time with him and all the residents. I know that he liked chicken salad... Even in his last weeks, Phil's charm and intellect was apparent. I enjoyed getting to know him.

Shermak Family,
Although I do not know you, I did get to know you beloved father when visiting mine, who himself was there too short. In that time I got to know your dad, enjoyed some trivia with him (which he was very good at) and enjoyed the times we could get him to smile. I know your, like my family's memories, are best beyond the days at Levindale. May those memories bring you comfort as you mourn. Your Dad seemed like a truly good man.
