Year after year during every Purim Carnival at Oheb, Dorothy and I used to kid and remind each other that we were the only two people left who only really liked "mun" Hamantaschen. And there never was any!
I'm so saddened. What a gentle and sweet woman. Marlene joins me in offering our sincere condolences.

While living at Weinberg village, Dorothy would regularly attend the Erev Shabbat services. I would watch Dorothy, her always sitting on the right side, in the fourth row. Dorothy would sing the Shabbat prayers with energy and dedication. When singing the "Yismechu" her arms would fly in the air, singing out "Hay" at just the right times. Also during our Shabbat service, Dorothy would proudly stand for the recitation of "Pledge of Allegiance" and singing of "God Bless America". I will so miss, my friend, Dorothy. While watching Dorothy, during Erev Shabbat Services, she would give me strength and energy, allowing me to sing out and lead our Weinberg Village Family in prayer and song. For me, a lasting memory of Dorothy will be of her and I chanting the Torah Blessings together during the Torah Service on the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah at the Weinberg. Surely, I will now have a heavenly Angel singing with me at Services. Dorothy's memory will provide me with God's blessing.
