Joanne was one of the sweetest, most kind tennis instructors I ever experienced. She coached me, with Mr Schwartzman, from a little girl in tennis tech. Eventually, I taught along side of her in the Summers.

On September 10, 2017, Joanne Levy (nee Heyman), loving wife of Edward R. Levy; devoted mother of Bryan, Jayme, and Allyson Levy; dear sister of Gordon Heyman and Ellen (Charles) McKay; cherished daughter of the late Eunice and Charles Heyman; also survived by 2 generations of nieces and nephews.

Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Tuesday, September 12, at 11 am. Interment is private.

Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, Attention: Tim Almaguer, 3001 East Drive, Druid Hill Park Baltimore, MD 21217.
