Dear Families,
With heartfelt empathy, we want to extend an invitation to you from Gilchrist Hospice for a special program entitled "What Matters: Caring Conversations About End of Life" with Rabbi Melanie Levav. This invaluable event seeks to foster a supportive space for those who have experienced loss over the past several years.
So often in our lives we concern ourselves with the present. What is going on now in our lives is typically paramount in our minds. Thinking ahead into the future and how we may handle difficult but inevitable decisions can be very challenging to ponder when considering our busy lives and other pressing decisions. However, sometimes we need to be jarred from our current lives and consider what may be and how we want to live in our waning days, both physically and spiritually.
Rabbi Melanie Levav, renowned for her comforting presence and insightful guidance, will lead us in exploring the meaningful conversations surrounding end-of-life care. She will help us learn ways in which more meaning and fulfillment can be sought towards one's end of life.
Please join us as we come together to learn and reflect.
